What the data contains
Depending on the file and what the retailer provided, a price record can include the product and brand, package size, chain, store, province, price and sale information. The date tells you when the price was recorded.
The stores and dates matter. A price at one tracked store is not a promise about every location, and a missing date does not mean the price stayed unchanged.
